love is magical.

I am obsessed with the above print from Etsy store Volume 25. What I would like to know is, what have YOU bought from Etsy? And has it made you deliriously happy? Please share :)

a kaleidoscope collage.

Like Nancy from the amazing blog Wolf and Willow, I'm fascinated by this new indie art movement, its name of which I am unaware. I was first taken by it when I was going through a serious Tumblr phase, however it slipped my mind for awhile, until I read Nancys post. She describes it as 'digital collage, nature themes, kinda cosmic', and like her, I completely love it. The above image is by Brent Hildy, the following were found on Tumblr (but I am happy to properly source them if anyone has the correct information!)

paper romance.

Nothing goes together quite like procrastination and Etsy. Not red wine and cheese, not gin and tonic, not even tea and biscuits (can you tell where my headspace is at the moment?). Tonight, in "honour" of exam time, I thought I'd trawl for fun paper inspired prints and knick knacks. These little treasures do the job just nicely in making up for the fact that the only paper romance in my life at the moment is that which I share with my lecture notes.

my wizard scar still burns for you.

My sister is the biggest Harry Potter fan I know, and being around her brings out the worst in my own HP "enthusiasm". Today I bought some rhinestone glasses on eBay for a Harry Potter themed party I'm going to....in August. Now all I need is an outrageous green dress and voila! Rita Skeeter! Anyway, I would have kept this  (awkward) information to myself if I hadn't stumbled upon these hilariously dry (but sadly non-existant) books:

the violet hour.

If this violet hued colour scheme doesn't tickle your fancy, then I'm sorry but I'm not too sure we can be friends. Also, I'm sorry that I don't have any sources for these pictures - you can blame that one on tumblr.

toy stories.

Anyone who has visited my bedroom knows of my latest obsession with collecting little creatures. Ceramic rabbits, china deer, swan soap holders...you name it, I've got it - or want it. So, when I clicked through the beautiful links sent in the latest Frankie newsletter, the last one I viewed instantly became my favourite. A photography set on Flickr entitled "Toy Stories" features old fashioned toys with new fashioned graphics - just the thing to make my less than average Tuesday.

Honestly, I could post the whole set they make me that happy. But you'll just have to look for yourself (and if you can pick a favourite, buy it as a print here.)
