I wish Halloween was a bigger thing in Australia - I do inexplicably love a little bit of macabre. In saying that though, I don't know what I would have dressed as. Maybe Sookie Stackhouse in a sun dress with blood running down my neck? I'd love to hear what you dressed as/would like to have dressed as.
Probably a good thing I'm not celebrating it though, seeing as last year the night fell whilst I was in England on exchange. I dressed as a cat (I had a very, very small budget), skulled a lot of vodka after our house party flopped a bit, told an Italian hunk I wanted to kiss him (only to be told he preferred blondes...ouch), ran outside and cried, then went back in wearing Lady Gaga's sunglasses to cover my puffy red eyes. Photos also show that halfway through the night my cat make-up totally disappeared. Odd. Needless to say, I'm still living down that one!
P.S. (If you like these kind of eerie-but-beautiful images, or are just in a spooky mood, I highly recommend you follow the Tumblr blog A Witch's Spell)
